The Epic of Gilgamesh
The epic of Gilgamesh is story of love, meaning, friendship, the hunt for immortality and what it means being human. Consequently, it is not only an epic tale that conveys the values and philosophies of the Mesopotamian civilization and Sumerian traditions, but it is usually a timeless, classic tale of spiritual pilgrimage that is exploring universal topics that transcend its ethnic and historic context, making this an enduring and relevant tale for any age. Gilgamesh is created by the gods. He is two thirds god and one third gentleman. Although Gilgamesh is considered a god, he can also human. He is the california king of Uruk. Gilgamesh did not value nor have consideration for his people. This individual raped his subjects' daughters and wiped out their daughters. As a consequence, the gods generate Enkidu as being a companion pertaining to Gilgamesh. Enkidu lives in the wilderness among the beasts. When living in the wilderness he saves the beasts by simply destroying the traps arranged by the sportsman. Enkidu's quest out of the wilderness with Gilgamesh. leads to his death. Gilgamesh, distraught over his companion's death, continues on a search pertaining to everlasting your life.
